One Bible Verse a Day to Get You Through the Week

Life gets busy. Stress piles up. Schedules overflow. And sometimes, in the middle of trying to take care of everyone else, we forget to slow down and reconnect with God.

I believe true wellness is about more than just workouts and nutrition. It’s about caring for your spirit, mind, and body. One simple way to stay grounded throughout the week is by focusing on one Bible verse each day.

Here are five powerful verses to encourage, strengthen, and guide you this week.

Monday — Joshua 1:9

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Start your week reminding yourself:

You are capable.

You are supported.

God goes before you.

Tuesday — Philippians 4:6–7

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Prayer can become part of your wellness routine just like movement, hydration, or nourishing food. When stress rises, pause and pray before spiraling.

God’s peace is stronger than anxiety.

Wednesday — 1 Corinthians 13:4–5

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.

This week, practice:

Patience with yourself and others

Kindness toward yourself and others

Grace with mistakes (even your own!)

Thursday — Jeremiah 29:11

“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’”

Trust that God’s plan is unfolding, even when you can’t fully see it yet.

Friday — Proverbs 3:5–6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart;

do not depend on your own understanding.

Seek his will in all you do,

and he will show you which path to take.

God’s direction is always steadier than our anxiety.

Wellness starts from the inside out. Caring for your spiritual health matters just as much as caring for your physical health.

I hope this has served you well!
