Did you know your morning drink at Starbucks could be hiding up to 500 calories?
When it comes to losing fat and feeling amazing, many people focus on cutting calories in their meals but completely forget about the hidden sugars and unnecessary additives in their drinks.
Here’s my go-to beverage list to keep you hydrated, energized, and in fat-burning mode.
1. Water
If there’s one thing I’ll always preach, it’s this: Drink. More. Water. Staying hydrated is one of the simplest ways to help your body burn fat, reduce cravings, and support digestion. Plus, dehydration can make you feel sluggish, and we don’t have time for that!
Tip: If plain water isn’t your thing, infuse it with lemon, cucumber, mint, or berries for a natural flavor boost!
2. Black Coffee
I know you love your coffee, but here’s the catch—it has to be black (or close to it!). The caffeine in coffee can give your metabolism a boost and increase fat oxidation. But once you start loading it up with cream and sugar, you’re undoing those benefits. Don’t believe me? Look at the nutrition label of your favorite sweet cream or coffee creamer and take a close look at the serving size!
Tip: If black coffee is too strong for you, try adding vanilla protein powder (or whatever your favorite flavor is)!
3. Unsweetened Tea
Tea should be another liquid staple in your daily routine! It’s hydrating, packed with antioxidants, and has zero added sugars if you keep it simple.
Green tea: Helps boost metabolism and burn fat Black tea: Supports digestion and gut health Herbal tea: Great for hydration and relaxation
Tip: If you’re used to sweet tea, try steeping your tea with fresh citrus or berries instead of reaching for sugar.
4. Flavored Sparkling Water
If you’re traditionally a soda lover, flavored sparkling water (no sugar added) is a great swap! You get the fizz without the added sugar or artificial ingredients.
Tip: I recommend trying LMNT Sparkling, which has electrolytes added for better hydration.
Small changes lead to big results, and what you drink every day matters. By swapping out sugary, high-calorie drinks for these fat-loss-friendly options, you’ll feel more energized, stay hydrated, and keep your progress on track!
Stay strong, stay hydrated, and keep moving!
