As someone who believes in holistic health—caring for the mind, body, and spirit—I’ve found books to be some of my greatest teachers. This World Book Day, I want to share three books that have deeply impacted my approach to wellness. Whether you're looking for practical health advice, spiritual encouragement, or insight into how to cultivate lasting happiness, these books have something for you!
1. "Good Energy" by Casey Means
If you want to truly understand how to fuel your body for better energy, this book is a game-changer. Dr. Casey Means breaks down the science behind metabolic health and how what we eat directly impacts our energy levels, longevity, and overall well-being. I love how she makes complex topics easy to understand and provides actionable steps to improve your daily habits. If you're looking to make smarter choices about your nutrition and lifestyle, this book is a must-read!
2. "Walking with God" by John Eldredge
Spiritual health is just as important as physical health, and John Eldredge’s book is a beautiful reminder of that. “Walking with God” is all about deepening your relationship with Him and learning to hear His voice in everyday life. I found this book incredibly inspiring because it’s not just about faith in theory—it’s about living it out daily. If you’re looking for encouragement in your spiritual journey, this book will uplift and challenge you in the best way.
3. "You Happier" by Dr. Daniel Amen
Happiness isn’t just about circumstances—it’s about how we care for our brain. Dr. Amen, a renowned psychiatrist, dives into the science behind happiness and how our habits, nutrition, and even thought patterns shape our mental well-being. What I love most about this book is that it’s backed by research but also incredibly practical. If you’ve ever wanted to better understand how your brain works and how to cultivate lasting happiness, “You Happier” is a must-read.
These three books have played a huge role in shaping how I care for my mind, body, and spirit. On this World Book Day, I encourage you to pick up a book that nourishes your wellness and helps you grow. What are some of your favorite books that have impacted your journey? Let’s celebrate the power of reading together!
Happy World Book Day!
